ABOUT THE AUTHOR    Mary Lindsay is a retired Kentucky teacher with 33 years of experience. She began working with FPS as a coach in 1980. In 1983 she co-authored a curriculum guide for creative problem solving based on the community problem solving component. This curriculum was developed for high school students in Jefferson County, Kentucky. Student teams from 18 high schools in the county participated in a competition sponsored by the County Judge Executive's office. Miss Lindsay has worked as a FPS coach and evaluator for 25+ years. She has evaluated at the district, regional, state, and international levels and she has evaluated elementary, middle school, and high school teams. In the late 1980's, Miss Lindsay became a state trainer for the Kentucky Association for Academic Competition (KAAC). She has trained teachers as coaches and evaluators for 20+ years. In 2002 Miss Lindsay began writing future scenes for Jefferson County, Kentucky to use in a local tournament. She is presently writing for tournament competition for several counties in Kentucky. After her retirement, Miss Lindsay moved to Central Florida in 2006 where she continues writing future scenes. She recently has received her certification as a FPS evaluator in Florida as well as in the International FPS located in Melbourne, Florida.   Click Here to Begin Shopping
